For some of our patients, a dream smile may be achieved with the help of skin care products called cosmeceuticals - and they’re more affordable than you may think! We currently offer two options: Botox and JUVÉDERM®.

Botox

Botox is a cosmeceutical that is known for correcting fine lines and wrinkles. It works by temporarily reducing the muscle activity that has caused these wrinkles. Visible smoothing can generally be noticed within 72 hours, and generally takes up to seven days to reach its full effect.

Some side effects of Botox can include redness, bruising, and bleeding of the injection site and even flu-like symptoms.

JUVÉDERM®

JUVÉDERM® is an injectable filler used to fill wrinkles in the face and restore a smooth appearance. It is known as the "liquid face-lift" and can even be used to plump up lips. The side effects are typically mild and can include redness, tenderness, puffiness, itching, bruising and discoloration.

With this process, you’ll see results immediately and swelling and/or bruising will subside in approximately seven days. Results can last anywhere from three to four months after one treatment, at which point the injectable will be absorbed into the body.
